I was with my mom there at Company and we took some tomatoes. It said ½ a bag was £1.50, so we filled it as instructed. Once we were at the cashier (she seemed to be in her 50s with blonde/grey ish hair) she said it was too full. So I had to go back to take out some tomatoes and came back. She said it was too much, once again, so had to take some out and she continued to make us do this A COUPLE MORE TIMES. We came bag with, at this point, ¼ of a bag and then she allowed us to take it. My mom kept on repeating that that was not half a bag but the cashier kept quite. We paid and started to walk away and as soon as we did so the cashier turns behind another one and starts to say fairly loudly "how rude, how rude". Me and my mom did hear her saying this but kept on walking. Once we got into the car, WE SAW HER FILMING US WITH HER PHONE FROM THE CAR (as we were parked very close to the store) WHICH WE WERE NOT EXPECTING AT ALL! EVERYTHING THAT AM SAYING CAN BE CONFIRMED FROM THE CAMERAS IN THE SHOP! If the roles were to be reversed, I don't think she would like someone filming her WITHOUT PERMISSION AND WITHOUT A CONCRETE REASON, SO WHY SHOULD WE? We are regular customers, we paid like everyone else, so WHY SHOULD WE TREATED DIFFERENTLY? This has happened today 26th of September 2022 at 2.40pm ish. I would have never imagined that we would be treated in...
Read moreIn the online website more products are available in more reasonable prices, when I arrived there there were limited amount of products in the same price that you can find them at lidl and Aldi. Pizza 2£ example. In lidl, 1.70£. For me to spend 6£ in bus tickets to go from Yoker to Renfrew and go there to find the same prices as lidl and Aldi is not very helpful. Considering that I am a care assistant getting paid the minimum wage. Full time student paying for my own college tuition fees. Plus rent, plus utility bills, plus transportation bills, was expecting that would go to the Company shop and would buy products that will keep me until the end of the month. Instead went there bought 2 lattice, 2 ice cream and turned back home having spend 17£ (6£ for tickets to go there, 5£ on the Company shop, and 6£ for my tickets back home). With 17£, I would have bought supplies for 2 weeks at Aldi which is nearby my house. That is why the whole experience was not very satisfactory...
Read moreThe worst shopping experience. Went and for the first time, so I had to wait to get a card wasn’t served for over 10 minutes this girl called twice and then asked for help and the girl did not want to help her at all. Then when she is serving me a million people are asking her questions so she’s very distracted and then when I finally do get in it is absolutely mayhem in the shop. The staff are so rude. Went to a free till and she says ‘no, did you not just hear me? Call the tannoy it’s first in the queue.’ This is the first time I’ve ever been so I didn’t know that this happened. It’s one queue which is ridiculous and stupid. Then we go stand in the queue no one comes to her. Eventually they do from nowhere, they were not in the queue and then we end up going to her anyway she finishes putting my stuff through and we just stand there in silence. She doesn’t tell me she needs my Membership card first time being there so how was I supposed to know this?...
