We went to deerpark as a memory of one of the family members that passed away we only been there max 30 mins before our wee boy got hurt by a bowling ball he was trying to pick up a bowling ball one of the 8 red balls using the 3 finger hole it slid out of my boys fingers and fell back on the rack he then tried to re pick the bowling ball up with his 3 fingers again and using his right hand to help scoop the ball up when a bowling ball came flying out the machine at some speed bearing in mind my wee boy was standing at the middle of wear the bowling balls sit on the rack were the bowling ball comes out this resulted in the bowling ball that came flying out the machine hitting the ball that my boy was hold smashing his hand against another bowling ball on the rack we had to take our son to a and e which we got told he has a open fracture and has to get butterfly stitches on his finger after this accident happened family member where still left to play on lane 1 and the following day we had to back in to fill in a accident form and there was a different family play on the same lane my son ended up with a open fracture which to me should have been closed in till a full investigation was done god for bid this was to happen again.we were offered free games of bowling in the further but we wanted our money back as i don't think we will be back to deerpark after this issue there has been no follow up call from management to see how my son is doing we ask for a independent company to be called to to investigate that bowling line as there was clearly something wrong as deerpark said they do there own maintenance on the machines unfortunately we won't be coming back here which is a shame as my we boy used to love it but the way wee have been treated and it's two weeks today this accident...

Dont think ill be back here in a hurry unless we get a chippy on the way .... they just want to rip the hole out you for drinks and send you on your way ...also we decided we would have a game of pool after bowling turns out there's only 1 pool que between 2 pool tables this place needs a serious shake up and they should think about their customers that pay money.... absolutely...
Read moreWe did the Bowl and Dine option with our family when visiting family in the area. We bowl regularly at home with our 3 pre-teen/teenage kids. This is an older facility with a few quirks but the provision on offer we thought was great. Snooker tables, air hockey, a few arcade games but not the casino-style extravaganza that is so prevalent these days. The food was great (its simple pub faire as expected but very tasty) and the value of 2 games and a meal for a family of 5 was superb. One stand out was Nicole, (manager?) who literally couldnt do enough for us and made the experience exemplary. Wonderful fun evening with our kiddos. 4 stars only for the facilities needing an update, 5 stars...
