Dufftown Distillery — Local services in Great Britain

I bought a bottle of The Singleton, Malt Masters ref 1106 from Tesco. I cannot fault the product itself but I have the two following observations regarding its packaging.

Although the beautiful box is a great selling point of the product, I feel during this period of climate change a less lavish double lined box should be provided, as the first thing I did was place it into my recycling bag, providing absolutely no intrinsic value.

Secondly I found the lip of the bottle disappointing, due to the edge having a large round over from the inner edge to the outer, which causes the whisky to cling onto glass bottle, instead of making a clean break into your glass, which results in the valuable product running down the neck and ultimately onto the table, causing waste. A simple tutorial from cycling/car aerodynamist would provide the company a good solution, as this is simple fluid dynamics.
