We were on our way to Aviemore and fancied a bite to eat along the way, as we stumbled into Dufftown we seen the Cozy Coo and it was really busy, so thought to give it a try and I'm glad we did. It's a brilliant, modern cafe on the high street and the staff are so friendly and give such a big welcoming. Our waitress was really friendly & bubbly and I was blown away with the option of haggis & cheese, which is a firm favourite! The Cozy Coo offers a wide variety of soup, toasties, paninis, homemade meals and the best handmade cakes and coffee all at an affordable price.

I can't quite say how good the haggis & cheese toastie was, it would be good if they included a few crisps alongside but it was great. We then had a slice of the old school vanilla sponge which once again was delicious. If you are in the area, I highly recommend a visit to The Cozy Coo, you won't be disappointed with plenty of seating, staff being friendly and the food being...

Was passing by after a hike and felt peckish, quickly did some research n found this place and it didn't disappoint.

Had the cullen skink which was tasty n served with a warm toasted ciabatta bun - brilliant. Got a scone with butter n jam - brilliant again. Service was brilliant, the owners were really nice n friendly and fussed over my dog with a few treats which he demolished in seconds.

Overall, cosy gem of a place and will definitely pop in again when we're back...

My first look at the menu made me worry that my hope for green vegetables would be an impossible ask. We were late in the afternoon and there wasn’t other options so I figured, why not try? The place is very cute, right in the center of town, and the staff are wonderful. They sell fudge with local whiskey in it, lovely pastries and the food was all delicious. I was very happily surprised that both of our plates had small salads of the freshest...

Went in for breakfast before 10am, tables available on Sunday, one of a few places open. It got busy later on, so don't leave it too late. We had white coffees, a roll on bacon and egg and a black pudding one. The server made the coffee, the rolls were cooked in the kitchen. Works well when not too busy. Pressure when it is. Had to queue to pay the bill. Pleasant place if you like highland cows.

This cafe is a nice welcoming place. It was a Saturday and it was quite busy. I had the scampi and it was a good helping. We found the staff very nice and we were served quickly. It should be said that they do sell some Cozy Coo Souvenirs such as mugs, pictures etc. After our meal we went for a local walk and ended up walking about five miles. This cafe was a great choice for us.
