Huge shame this used to be one of the best on the estate, but this is the 2nd occasion now we have gotten home and our foods been cold! The first time my daughter had gone for us but on this occasion I went. The older lady who served us was quite frankly ignorant. while she asked our order she was wrapping up some food which was put on top of the top box I was unaware this was my order as I asked for some fish to be put in! I could of kicked myself because when my fish was ready she bagged up the rest of the top of the top box & I thought i bet it's cold betime I get home and of course it was ! The only thing what was warm was the fish that I had waited for and well the batter was all stodgy and under cooked. Popped in the FRIARY this afternoon, 13/8/24.....sweltering hot day! Fish special, curry my choice....bang on, cooked to perfection! What a little gem. 1st time trying here and was greeted by happy friendly staff, food was cooked fresh. Shop was very clean and tidy. Food was lovely! crispy batter, proper chip shop chips and the best gravy I've had. I'm so glad I went, will definitely be recommending to family and friends and will see you same time next...
