The best chippy I have ever been in, every time you order no matter day it is, weather it is it is always perfect, fried to perfection. The fish is amazing, tastes good and a good price, the small fish is massive and very worth the money. The chips are always hot, especially with the salt or the gravy they are absolutely amazing, getting the fish meal deal always makes my day as I can spend cheaper here then more popular fast food restaurants and not only get more out of it but get a much better tasting meal. The area of this place and how local it is makes it even better, like a hidden gem in the jungle.

I use to discribe this Chippy the best in Hull, on my previous review. But the quality of the food especially the chips and the batter that's used has gone down hill. I ordered the special offer (£12.99) around an hour ago most of the chips that I got with the offer were overcooked, burned, dry and didn't look presentable. I'm attaching a photo of the chips that where picked from the offer and its pretty much half of the chips gone. Most of the time the chips are fine but lately just terrible something...

I've just had chips small sausage curry and a bread cake. And in 50 years of eating fish n chips I can honestly say that what I hust ate was perfection. Chips where beautiful, cooked to perfection in a light very clean oil. The bread was super soft, The sausage was good not too greasy. And the curry was tasty as it could be. Well worth a try this chippy it's just made it to the number 1 spot on my baest chippy in hull list 100%
