Just returned home from this hell hole. We decided to go away last minute and this was one of the few places with a space, wish I’d not bothered. On arrival the plus side was the pitch wasn’t muddy and we backed against a bush (full of rubbish) most of the other pitches the tents and caravans were back to back like sardines. This was about the only plus to the holiday. The site has only 1 toilet / shower block which is absolutely filthy. Not helped by the absolute scummers that use it but haven should have it cleaned more regularly in fact knowing their customers are complete grot bags the site should have a cleaner on site all day and site wardens present 24/7. The toilet / shower block is full of stained horrible toilets, poo on the floor, pee on the floor, used brown toilet paper all over the place, used sanitary towels stuck to the wall, used tampax in the shower. I had to call the office and report diarrhoea coming out from the male toilets and onto the decking area, a guy who came out of the toilets said it was all over inside, this did get cleaned up quite quickly. The showers work on a push button, you need to press them every 5 seconds to keep them on and enjoy the lovely freezing water unless you want to shower at 6am or 11pm then you might get a slightly warm one. The pitches are full of rubbish, admittedly the seagulls don’t help but I’ve never stayed anywhere else this dirty. The pool was booked out most of our stay but managed to get in for 1 swim. The pool was dirty, full of hair, fake eye lashes and bits of toilet roll. The pool staff were miserable took half of our pool session to open the slides. My little boy asked at 9:15 when they would be open and the lifeguard shrugged and turned away. The showers on the pool side were at least warm.

The entertainment and all other amenities are a good 15/20 min walk away on the other part of the site where the statics are. The entertainment team are friendly and were good with the kids and the bar staff were nice too. But unfortunately again the toilets there are dirty not quite as bad as the tourers toilets but still lack cleaning. The arcades are a complete rip off. I would advice you look at the prizes on offer before spending your money to win tickets. My kids got 2500 tickets and came away with £2 worth of sweets.

Definitely won’t be staying here again, I would rather go...

Came here for the weekend 20th of August paid for full play passes. Was very disappointing had to book in everything you went to in the complex everything booked up most closed when they wanted....go karts closed 1 hour early for what ever reason dingy boats also shut down early than time stated. Swimming had to be booked was only aloud in 1 pool so if you choose indoor pool you was not aloud to go out to the outside pool no explanation as to why really confusing if am honest. then there was about 50 to 60 people in the baths but would only open the water slide for 10 mins due to covid again absolutely confused we ended up getting out after 20 mins to be then told the showers were closed due to covid so we wasn't aloud a shower after the baths cos of covid but yet we was aloud to sit in a bath with 60 other people absolutely shocking don't get it at all... and then to be told you don't need to book after 27th I have no idea what difference is between today and the 27th over all very poor and will not ever...

Please don’t mistake me for a Karen, we're usually very easily pleased. We booked this caravan site with the on-site facilities in mind and paid more for this reason. Unfortunately we had a very disappointed child as 14 days before arrival there was no availability for anything. The outdoor pool was closed aswell as no availability at the indoor pool. Our daughter loves to play bingo, but alass this was strictly for over 18s only as "it was a form of gambling" a bit hypocritical considering to get to the bingo you have to walk through thousands of kids playing on slot machines. The whole place is dilapidated, understaffed and dated. If and when you manage to find your pitch whitch is probably sufficient enough space to pitch a Wendy house there's nowhere to empty your gray water. Also dumped in the Touring park is the eyesore make shift staff cabins.... Real classy. The toilet block is surprisingly new and modern but again not cleaned very often probably down to the staffing problem. A totally...

Not so friendly welcome from the touring reception. This was because we'd arrrived 10 minutes early. The lovely groundsman called Glynn who was present kindly showed us to our pitch trying to compensate for the 'jobsworth' receptionist. Pitch was good but the water supply was out of action so we had to use someone elses water supply from their euro pitch. The toilet and shower facilities are modern but due to the large number of people using them they were dirty. It's sad that some feel its acceptable to leave dirty nappies and clumps of hair in the shower cublicle and not flush the toilet. There was an attendant gentleman there to try and keep it all clean but there needs to be more than just one person, especially at busy times to keep it clean. For this reason we will not return to Blue Dolphin.

Staying here for 3 weeks. I love it here. Small play areas for kids, water points and refuse bins are regular Not far from main attraction area but far enough not to be disturbed by it. It has few down sides though, only one toilet and shower block for the whole site and if you want to use it early then be prepared for a wait. Approx 9//10 showers when fully open (not counted) and approx same with toilets. Only 1 for disabled and family use. Site can get boggy when raining, and not a lot of the pitches are level. For me the surrounding areas and views make my holiday. I do feel safe on this site and that counts for a lot.

Been touring for 5 years now and the facilities at this site are old and out dated, plenty of water points, but there a bit tight, first time my son took the bottle to fill it he broke the bottle trying to get it in. The waste water location is in the same area as the chemical waste point and I can’t lift 40 litres of water up to empty it there, so I have to use the small drain on the floor and you have most of the water spilling over the floor. First day here and the bins were over flowing and the seagulls had a party! Empty the bins or provide more!!!! Picture will be shared.
