Went last night and had the loveliest experience!! The staff that were working were wonderful, I think it was Lizzy (according to the receipt so I hope it is!) and a lady in the kitchen who’s name I never caught. We ordered dipping churros and a three scoop tub, which we planned to share but we never mentioned that. We asked how long it would be and they guessed about ten mins so instead of waiting in the shop we headed to sit in the car as it was fairly busy. We came back and the food was ready so great timing, and it turns out they had put the churros on the coffee machine to keep them warm 🥺🥺 it honestly meant the whole world and it was probably a tiny gesture to them but it was very sweet and we spoke about it the whole ride home! They also gave us two spoons (and two wafers) for the ice cream 🥰 I’ve never had a bad experience here but this really made me want to come back more regularly. Thank you to both ladies who were working for your kindness, especially on a Sunday evening when I’m sure you’re very tired. Ps the ice cream flavours are phenomenal, especially the kinder (or bueno, can’t remember what it was called)...

I’m only posting here because I have waited over 2 weeks for a reply via email, as I wanted to give them a fair chance to respond.

Firstly, I’d like to acknowledge the member of staff who served us: she was doing her best and remained professional and courteous throughout, However, it was evident that she was working alone, which understandably led to slow service. This is a staffing issue rather than a reflection on her performance, and we felt that more support should have been in place during a busy period such as lunchtime.

Unfortunately, there were also a couple of issues with our order: The churro cup I received was cold and didn’t appear to be finished as described. It lacked the usual cinnamon sugar finish and was underwhelming compared to what we’ve had before.

My wife ordered an iced latte, and the lid didn’t fit the cup properly. When she picked it up, the lid came off and the drink spilled down her dress, which was disappointing and quite frustrating as we were heading elsewhere afterwards and she had to go home and change.

Twice now i've been here and both experiences have been the same. Qued outside for half an hour as the shop is tiny. Then get inside to be told it'll be another 20 minutes for 2 churros. Seriously understaffed the guy on the till is also running about trying to put orders together. Theres one guy in the kitchen and there's just eat drivers piling in and out. You can go to a churro van in the town and they manage to get them for you in seconds so why can't an ice cream shop like this have churros made up rather than make them on an order by order basis.
