Malaga Tapas Bearsden — Restaurant in Great Britain

This was without any doubt the worst meal that I have ever eaten. I ordered from the special menu an Iberian pork Taco and from the main menu Calamares al a Romana. I would normally order a third Tapas but thought that the porkTaco would be of a reasonable size. After a very long wait what I received was no thicker than a small squashed crumpet with a sliver of pork so thin that it was almost invisible. After cutting into it my first thoughts were, have they forgotten the filling. The outside of the Taco was over cooked and greasy and resembled the inside of a take away burger box. Then after everyone else in our party of five had finished their meal my Calamares arrived which looked reasonably appetising but as I started eating one I soon realised that 95 % of what I was eating was rancid greasy batter with little trace of squid. I refused to eat the this dish as it was horrible. The service was poor as four out of the fourteen dishes were not what we had ordered. After everyone had finished their meal my wife's potatoes that she ordered to eat finally arrived forty minutes late. Her original potato order had arrived covered in a spicy tomato sauce which she had asked not to have. The one redeeming feature, if you could call it that, was that instead of four potatoes she received six as an apology which was pointed out by the waiter. The restaurant is very small which is acceptable given the location but the seating is extremely cramped. There are far too many tables crammed into a tiny space. In conclusion, I spend three months of the year in Portugal/Spain and this is not a true reflection of proper Tapas.The food is badly prepared poorly presented and of a very poor standard. I will...

We decided to try Malaga Tapas on the way home from the garden centre. We ordered just after 1pm but by 2:15pm there was still no sign of our food despite several other tables having their order taken and then being served their food well after we'd ordered.

The table next to us (the tables are very close together and they heard even though I tried to speak quietly) remarked they had felt the wait was long yet they had arrived after we had ordered and they had placed their order and received their food in that time frame.

The biggest issue here is that neither of the two waiting staff came over at any point to advise us why there was such a significant delay, nor to apologise for the delay. Only when I said we were going to leave was I told "it might be another 10 minutes". We didn't want to sit about for another undetermined amount of time and so we left. 7 of us dined here to celebrate my daughters birthday. We were a bit surprised when led to our table outside the restaurant to a make shift room on the side. We were the only ones out there until later on in the evening, when other couples were brought out. There were little insects crawling on the table & a few spiders hanging off the ceiling. Chips were overcooked & some of the food was a bit oily. A new batch of chips were brought when we complained. When we ordered second lot of drinks, the beer took ages & the coke wasnt brought at all. My husband has a dairy allergy & the staff were helpful in helping him select his dishes. However, his food came out a lot later than the rest. There was a big screen next to our table & the music from it was too loud. We couldn't hear ourselves talking. We felt the service wasn't worth the money we paid for food....
