Mole Country Stores — Local services in Great Britain

This is the 3rd time I’ve been in to this store. To say the service from sales assistants was poor would be an understatement.

Today will be my last visit ever ! I phoned the 01747 number to check stock before leaving home. Yes there are 29 gate latches in stock, I was told (suspect this was head office as the 01747 diverts if not answered) I get to store and guess what - no stock !

The person I dealt with showed no empathy, made no apology for my wasted journey and to be frank couldn’t care less. While in store I phoned the 01747 number again - I could hear it ringing but not answered despite 3 assistants standing behind the counter talking to one another.

This store is a disgrace and the “assistants” in it desperately need to be reminded that that their role is to “assist” customers ! Furthermore when a customer receives poor service; acknowledge it, show some empathy and apologise.

As an elderly individual needing assistance loading numerous purchases into my car, I expected a level of kindness and support. Mole valley is great for all your pet needs , wild bird food , products for horses , Welly boots coats & some clothes also house hold products ,,they.also self sheds some gardening furniture & other garden products ,the staff are very helpful & friendly good size car park easy assces for wheel chairs although some ailse are a little narrow I would definitely recommend this shop they have everything in place as to the guild lines...
