Seafood Fish & Chips — Restaurant in England

Not long moved to Gillingham and have been wanting to try this place for a minute. Finally got round to it tonight and I can happily say it was quite possibly one of the best fish and chips I’ve ever eaten. The owner was very friendly and polite. The cod was perfectly cooked and fresh. The batter was perfectly seasoned and it wasn’t greasy or soggy like you get in most place. The pea fritter was massive and again cooked perfectly. We enjoyed this fish and chips treat on holiday. The service was friendly and quick. The food was delicious, I had lovely cod and my husband enjoyed a battered sausage. We also tried the pea fritters, a fun addition, very big! And ticked off our bucket list the famous deep fried mars bar! 😄 thanks for letting us experiment with that.

The kids meal was pretty standard, our son enjoyed it. The drink was an unusual bubble gum flavoured drink, we did not give this to him as it looked very unhealthy, I’d recommend changing this to a fruit shoot or apple/orange juice personally. Depending on how big a Gannett you are I reckon a large cod & a small chips would easily feed two people here making it great value because it's cooked beautifully every time and tastes spot on without any greasiness & nicely done chips & batter to boot . The guy didn't get my Pea fritter ? Only be that big joke but hey you can't have everything & they're all lovely folks in here . Oh & the pea fritter is actually massive , it's a flat one which is unique & about the size of a football pitch .I like it so much I haven't tried the other fish bar yet cuz when the yearning strikes it's here...
