After moving here, I think I've tried every single pool in a 20-mile radius, and this one is the best I've found. It's pretty basic and the changing room desperately need some refurbishment (I don't mind mixed showers - but a door on cubicles would be really nice!) Yet, the pool has a decent amount of lane swimming sessions throughout the week, it's a reasonable modern pool design (THANK YOU for the overflow!), the staff is always super friendly and helpful and - despite a little tired looking the pool and changing area is kept very clean. Great place for all ages, and many diferent sports to choose from. I really don't mind taking my shoes of to go in to a swiming changing room, but don't like that others don't follow same rules. Many times there is a lack of shoes nets available expecially Saturdays, probably busiest day in the pool. Please send an email to all parents on swiming school reminding of the important of having clean floors in a wet changing rooms, I know staff only use shoes inside the building however I believe in leading by example, and if there meets available staff should coment to people...

Riversmeet is a very well run leisure facility. I became a member just after the centre opened. It has friendly helpful staff who create a warm, welcoming environment. I mainly use the gym but also attend a very good Pilates class. I'm 75 and the well balanced range of equipment in the gym, allows me to stay pretty fit. To add to an already excellent venue a new coffee shop has opened in the foyer. This offers good coffee and a wide range of cakes and other snacks.
