I have only ever given good reviews before (see my profile), but this is the first time ever I am compelled to write something about the bad service I received from Roseland recently. I had bought the below sofa from Roseland, listed as £1229.95. A week later I had found the same sofa for £870 on a competitors website (you can tell its the same as the photo shows the same painting hanging on the wall behind the sofa). These prices were both discounted from the RRP of approx. £1400 (which only became aware to me upon several communications with them). Anyway as the sofa had not been delivered yet, I contacted Roseland to ask for a refund. They told me it will cost £150 deduction as per their T&C even though it hadn't been delivered to me yet but was out with the courier. I am ok with paying a fee, this is not the issue, but £150 is excessive and struggle to understand why for a very small corner sofa (the dimensions of which are smaller than normal 3 seaters) that it costs so much when it hadn't even been delivered yet. I did mention to them that we are saving costs because it hasn't yet been delivered to me, but they didn't care with their responses and stated same price if it was delivered anyway and then returned... I know madness of it.
Anyway having mentioned to them I found it for cheaper, they offer no other excuse of why they think its acceptable to have a difference of 40% compared to their competitor. They are happy with trying to extract as much money out of their customers as possible. I really wish I never read these reviews before buying their item as felt I was in safe hands, but I guess when everything goes smoothly all is great, but when things go wrong then you see the their true colours. It is a real shame as I liked a few other items on their website, but will definitely do my research going forward because 40% differential is just extreme, I can understand a price difference for a lesser percentage but this is so ridiculous and to offer no consideration to me is really disgusting. I would have still been happy to purchase from them, had there been some compromise, even if I had still spent more in the end with them, but this was immediately shut down by them. I hope they see this as constructive criticism but I doubt it given the business acumen they have...
Read moreI visited the Roseland Furniture Outlet store recently to purchase matching Zelah bedroom furniture. There is a good selection of discounted furniture available. A colour coded price guide is useful to know the price of each item on display - this inevitably reflects the condition of the item (some are in better condition than others!).
I found two matching bedside tables with very minor defects, the pair totalled £190. If I had purchased brand new from the main store it would have cost £360. So I would definitely recommended looking in the outlet first for any lovely bargains!
The team are very friendly and useful. The main guy at the tills took my bedside tables to the front of the store so it would be easier for me to move into the boot of my car. As I started to move one, he came along behind me and placed them both in my boot. So kind! Thank you very much.
I would highly recommend to other for good quality furniture (if you don't mind minor defects out of sight). It is worth fully checking the furniture before purchasing to avoid any disappointment once bought.

Delivery service said it was delivering it on Monday gave me a time slot never arrived. No more updates. I call they tell me they are not sure what happened but they will investigate. No more updates again. I call again the day after: will be delivered tomorrow. Again no signs of it. I received an email with an outright lie they attempted the delivery, not true I was in my living room all day. Call them again, they apologised they said it was a mistake and at this point they say they will still deliver the item the next day: no signs of it again. I call and asked to be refunded as they clearly lost the item. they won’t refund me unless the item comes back to them: but it’s clear the item has been lost. It has been a week no signs of the item or of my money or of a processing refund. Also I tried to track again the item: the delivery website won’t open anymore.
