I’m so mad, thought we would get a takeaway as would be a nice lunch ( we’ve had it before always good food). This time paid for the food 2x burgers 1x chips a salad and 1x cauliflower bites, was told it would be out shortly. Oh how they were wrong. After an hour and a half waiting we decided to question where the food was and they said it would another half an hour. We both decided to leave because my partner had work in 45 minutes. The Tapyard Riverside used to be the old home of the Skinners Brewery. When the Skinner’s brewery failed, the Goodh Brewery took over the site and moved from its previous location at the old print works.

The choice of beers is simply excellent and there is plenty to suit every taste. Staff are really friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is superb. There is food on offer, which I must say pairs really nicely with the beer and the Mojo dipping sauce is one is a must have with the chicken and chips.

We had a really good couple of hours after an impromptu stop after a walk. The staff were lovely and made everyone including the dog welcome. The beer selection is great. We tried the flight of four different ones which worked out perfectly to help choose what we wanted to drink. They were all very different and varied in strength.
