Hugely disappointed with a recent visit here. Shandar were known for their samosas as they were filled with a good amount of meat and the size of the samosa. They’ve always been on the pricey side but that didn’t matter as the meat quantity and size justified that. I bought them yesterday only to be disappointed to find how the filling has changed. 80% potato and only 20 if lucky, meat! Seriously thought they’d given me veg by mistake! You would call this ‘choar bazaari’ in my lingo! Defo won’t be back!

Disappointing, I normally go to the Glasgow Sweet shop but decided to give somewhere else a try this time. Despite previous comments about the staff, the gentleman serving me was friendly. The barfi I had been so looking forward to was the worst I've ever had. It had developed a crust like it had been sitting out in the sun all day. The pakoras I liked as did the samosas but having spent about £5/6 on the barfi this has soured my experience. I can't recommend nor will I be returning.

Double samosa salat served without chickpeas... it was fresh and crispy but too much spicy

I recently visited Shandar Sweets & Pan House in Glasgow, and while I enjoyed the sweets, my overall experience was soured by the rude attitude of the staff. The sweets themselves were decent and had a good taste, which made it a shame that the customer service did not match up.

Unfortunately, the staff seemed to have a dismissive and unfriendly attitude towards me and other customers. It was quite off-putting and detracted from the otherwise enjoyable experience.

On the plus side, the pricing at Shandar Sweets & Pan House is budget-friendly, which is a definite plus for those looking for affordable sweet treats in Glasgow. However, the poor service may make it hard for some customers to justify a return visit.

Overall, while the sweets are good, the poor customer service makes it difficult to recommend Shandar Sweets & Pan House. If you're looking for budget-friendly sweets and don't mind the rude staff, then it might be worth a visit. However, there are likely other sweet shops in Glasgow that offer both great sweets and good...

A small family owned Pakistani sweet shop selling traditional home made South Asian sweets along with "Pani Puri", Biryani, paan, pakoras and probably their most popular savoury dish, "samosas" or to be more specific samosa salad where they offer either one or two samosas crumbled into a tub, topped with a shredded mixed salad and then drenched with a tamarind and yogurt sauce.

They make fresh jalebies daily which are a must buy, especially if they are still warm. Gulab jamun are...
