Our recent stay at the property was disappointing, warranting a ⭐⭐ star rating. While the location is excellent and the sound of sheep adds charm, the experience was marred by significant issues. The temperature was unbearably warm with no means of control, and ventilation was poor. Cleanliness was subpar, with a dirty sofa, bad odour from the sink, and dusty floors. Essential kitchen items like paper towels and pots were missing, and the provided toiletries were insufficient.
The cottages overlook the village and the golf course, offering no privacy. The glass is not reflective, so everything inside is clearly visible. All the pictures on the website are carefully chosen to show that the cottage is in a remote location without anybody else around it, but this is not the reality. If you are looking for privacy, this is not the place for you.

Read moreMy boyfriend and I had such a lovely overnight stay here for my birthday, the place is so peaceful and the views are beautiful! The owner Gail came and met us for arrival and showed us how everything worked which was really great, she also left a bottle of prosecco and chocolates for my birthday which I thought was just so thoughtful! We were so gutted to wake up this morning and have to come home, we definitely wished we could have stayed longer so we will definitely keep this place in mind for next time! We took a walk down to the beach which is literally a 5 minute walk and I was expecting to see about 2 maybe 3 seals but I seen around 50-60! I was so amazed at how many were so close by for us to see! This place is definitely an amazing getaway with everything you could possibly need to switch off from reality for a while.. not to mention I had one of the best night's sleep I've had in a long time! We can't wait to...
Read moreI stayed in a bothy for one night and it was honestly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed.
The bothy itself is modern, well equipped and very clean. There’s a small kitchen with cutlery and dishware if you need it. The bathroom is small but perfectly formed. The main attraction is the glass window/wall, which gives a spectacular view over the golf course to the beach on a clear day.
Gail and Tanya sent email instructions ahead of time and left a lovely note and little bottle of Prosecco - such nice touches.
I spent the morning on the beach watching the sunrise - it’s only a ten minute walk and it’s simply stunning.
I’ve already booked to come back for a few nights. Just phenomenal.
Edit: we came back to stay for another few nights and loved it. Small but...
