Avoid at all costs! I was deeply disappointed by the poor customer service we received from this Chinese takeaway. After making a genuine mistake while ordering — one involving an allergy — my son returned to the restaurant to explain. Instead of handling the situation with understanding or professionalism, the staff chose to lecture him at length, insisting on proving he was wrong and making it clear he should not “do it again.” This response was not only inappropriate but also deeply disrespectful and left my son in a very uncomfortable public situation. Allergies are a serious matter, and while we acknowledge our error in ordering, a courteous and helpful response from staff would have gone a long way. Read moreGerry, another reviewer of this place, claims to drive from Glasgow to eat here. Seriously Gerry?
I've passed this place a couple of times and thought it looked ok. Tonight I went in, for the first and the last time.
Where do you get your chicken from? Soggy yet crunchy. It has a strange taste to it, like it's been boiled. One bite, and I was shocked. It was awful.
I'll never go back. A place like this can't improve. Maybe it doesn't need to. Gerry and his pals can keep this place going.
If you're hungry I suggest you just go to Tesco next door. Buy a ready roasted chicken and a packet of uncle Ben's ready cooked rice. Then get a jar of Chinese sauce. Mix it all together. There you go.
Or, better stills till, head west into Glasgow. There's some great places on Dumbarton Road. (Dumpling Monkey is good). It's not that far... And wave to Gerry as...
