The Craigmarloch Lodge — Restaurant in Scotland

Came with my partner for dinner and we walked inside and looked for an empty table that was cleared of plates etc however there weren't any so we took a table and placed all the dirty stuff to the end. A sign on the table said to order using the app so we did. Soon after placing the order, a member of staff came to our table to inform us that they only had 1 steak left so one of us would have to change our order. I said I was happy to change mine and the guy said I would have to go with him to the bar to sort it out on the computer. I followed him to the bar and he said he would need to go get his manager. The manager appeared and I recognised this lady from a previous visit we had. She was not at all happy and didn't even acknowledge me standing there or make any eye contact. The guy then told her the issue and she swore and said this was going to take ages to fix. Without looking at me, she told me to go back to my seat as it would take a while. Eventually our food arrived and we asked for cutlery. The server pointed to the stuff at the end of the table which we had stacked and said there's cutlery there. We told him that was all the stuff from the previous diners. He went and got us clean cutlery but left the dirty stuff on the table. I asked where our drinks were and he said that we'd have to go get them ourselves as they were short staffed. My partner went to the bar and the barmaid was standing waiting for a customer. He asked if our drinks were coming and she just pointed to the drinks orders laid out and asked which one it was. So she made the order and my partner brought it back. We finished our meal and had already gave a tip due to paying via the app where it asks for a tip upfront. The manager never appeared with a resolution to the mix up to the order so no idea if I'll be getting a refund for the difference or not. Went for dinner Saturday 13th August as had several good previous visits sadly this visit was a disaster ordered the chicken sizzler skewers when i tried to eat one it was difficult to cut and felt rubbery on inspection this was because it was raw inside i immediately told the experienced staff member who took it away who said she was surprised because they came ready cooked and prepared i pointed out that I wouldn't have another one and chose a different meal which was fine and cheaper than the sizzler there was no mention of me getting the difference back also my wife ordered the garlic prawns sizzler which came with the vain sack still inside them hardly cooked also the vegetables were swimming in grease so she left most of it uneaten no member of staff came to our table throughout the rest of our visit to apologise or ask if everything was okay so a a very...

I will say this it’s a great place to eat I remember loving there curly fries and there chocolate ice cream Sundays 😋

although I can remember one night back in about 2013ish I was sitting at the very back with my support worker right next to this dead Chavy looking bloke who was staring at me as he ate his chips and when I got up to go to the toilet he was on his phone with his elbow poking out so as you can imagine I accidentally brushed past him and he kind of shivered a little as it happened.
