Food is nice but is over priced. Ate here a few times and had no problems. On second visit I observed the chap with white beard eat in the kitchen. Can say for certain that he washed his hands after but I wasn’t that fussed. About a tenner for a kebab, decent quality food but small portion sizes. Staff prefer to talk in their own language in your presence even though they can all speak English well enough. But village grill however, wow this gets me excited. Served in a fresh, thick and aromatic naan; piles of Doner meat always cooked to perfection, this really is the REAL DEAL. Been coming here for around 7 months now and never had a bad kebab. The large portion is generous beyond belief and puts a twinkle on my Saturday nights. It really is THAT good. Not good. Been here 3 times, first was decent. Just ordered Donna kebab and chips and was nice enough, nothing special.
Ordered again with cheesy chips and mayo, got chips, no cheese and a pathetic squirt of mayo (to the point I think they were taking the p**s).
The third time we ordered tonight and no mayo on the chips as requested , the cheese pizza looked like something you'd get for £1 from aldi. Kebab was decent again, but nothing special.
Oh and the staff aren't very polite on the phone.
