What an experience! New Manager Ishi is a delight and the restaurant spotless, welcoming. The many small touches: warm hospitality, traditional polite service, fresh flowers, resh lemon in the water, enchanting Indian chill-out music, quality candles, hot refreshing lemon towels, and even offer of complementary coffee) make for a truly charming "service with warm respect" experience. Now to the food - Only DIVINE cuts it. The creamy dishes were so creamy, the tomato dishes so flavourful, the garlic and herbs fresh, the naan soft, fluffy, fresh, dreamy. I don't often leave reviews, but This is Littleover's under-rated secret. The end.

Had a table booking. Food was ok, nothing special to be honest. Service was appalling - table staff were leaning right across the front of diners to put things on the table, rather than moving to a more suitable place to access the tabletop; and having ordered a bottle of wine they brought a different one without saying anything, it was only when challenged on this that they said they didn't have that variety and allow us to chose another for ourselves. The venue just looked tired - seats had faux leather covering which was peeling; toilets looked like something from a working men's club (see photos).

I have amended my previous negative review as the food has improved so greatly in this restaurant in the last year. It used to all taste the same, now it is far more varied and tastes delicious. It is still pretty expensive, but maybe worth the cost. The staff have also got a lot friendlier. All this is evident as they are busier now than ever and there are now queues to pick up food. We have now also made it a regular addition to 'Takeaway nights'. Well done for being brave enough to listed to feedback!!! : )

WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD AT A RESTAURANT! Wish I could give this place NO stars! As we sat down, we requested the set menu, as advertised on their website. The waiter ( who was extremely rude) was at the point of shouting at us, said that their is no set menu, even when we showed him the set menu online he said “ that’s fake” “ that’s not on our website”. We then got told we could do the set menu, but every 4th person had to order the same curry. So it meant not everyone could have what they wanted. On the set menu, it is written that every 4th person can share a bottle of wine, which caused absolute mayhem! The waiter refused for a good 10 minutes, arguing with us until he agreed and brought 3 bottles of wine out. ( why put something on a menu and not offer it). I went up to the bar and ordered orange juice and Malibu as a drink, the orange juice was a brown colour and tasted AWFUL, I went back up the bar and he had noticed it was (extremely) out of date orange juice! The curry was lovely, however naan was rock hard. It came to the end of the night of us paying, we have noticed the waiter only added our £5 deposits to one table, so to make it simpler we asked kindly if he could do it so each table had their deposits, he was literally throwing a fit and said “ you guys are the worst customers we have ever had, never had to deal with such people “ Infront of us all. This has to be the worst restaurant I have ever sat down at! DO NOT GO AS LARGE GROUPS, I have thrown up...

We visited here last night hoping to get a lovely meal. I had travelled all the way from Hull to visit friends and it was there treat for me. We went in about 8pm. When we arrived all sempt great. We sat down ordered a drink and then the food. We then realised that in a side room there was around 40 guys getting absolutely smashed out there face. Don't get me wrong i am no party pooper i love going out to get drunk. This was ridiculous we could not here each other talking because they were screaming and shouting and going crazy. We then got our started and granted it was nice until half way through we had to watch guys passing out and puking up in front of us which is the last thing you want to see whilst eating your meal. Because of this we were forgotten about because they was to busy cleaning sick up. When they eventually came over with our main we couldn't eat it. Its completely ruined the night. The meal was £72 we at least expected an apology and the offer of a discount. But no nothing. I am so disappointed. Its safe to say i wont be back. Im sorry for the bad review guys but you could of sorted the situation by warning us as we came in or at least offering a courtesy drink or discount because of what...

We went mid week place empty except for us. Although very modern and clean looking massive grease stain on table cloth. Staff were watching football on the tv. Service was acceptable speed. Podadom and pickles were great but wished we had stopped there. I ordered a Paneer special curry dish described as having cauliflower and potatoe in, what that actually meant was actually one small potatoe and one piece of cauliflower. Had a boiled egg in which surprised me. Also huge chunks of thickly cut and inedible onion imagine in fact 60% of the dish was inedible onion. The waiters excuse was the onion was thick he offered to get it cooked more I declined. It should never have been cooked like that in the first place. The other half had chicken shaslik which was acceptable. However given how quiet it was in the restaurant amazed the fifty percent of our order was cooked so badly given the lack of other customers maybe the chef was also watching the football. Would...
