Great ice cream, come here regularly. Having said that my wife doesn’t like going in because for years she’s been a regular customer and not once has the woman who serves smiled at her. I have experienced this in my previous 8 visits myself. We have noticed her smiling and laughing talking to her other non-Asian customers and as soon as we enter the shop her smile turns upside down. I hope she is able to overcome whatever prejudice she holds.
I read some of her passive-aggressive, defensive responses to negative reviews left by other customers, and I see a clear trend there - they’re all Muslim . Instead of saying “my staff are well behaved and polite” which is irrelevant because you’re as polite as you come across to customers, they should apologise for the poor service and promise to improve. Read moreI was actually next to be served and witnessed the male staff member actually coming from beyond his serving position and removing the flake from the kids cone which in turn upset the kid. You are not even allowed to have a look at the ice cream flavours which are available as they do not let you in the shop beyond this wooden table..why not ?? As the previous review made the point,it's strange that Ice Cream people do not seem to get how kids would feel about this situation,the shop was mobbed and would have stood to make a good weekends takings but felt it necessary to take back a flake,I do not know the story behind it but I can assure you the optics of it...

The vanilla ice cream is subtle, however the coconut, raspberry ripple, mango, wild strawberries are really good. The best flavoured ice cream in Glasgow.
