West Way Fisheries — Local services in Great Britain

I bought a simple cheese burger & chips and a fishcake & chips. Both lots of Chips were very good with not a lot of bits and extremely hot and fresh. The fishcake was lovely and hot and extremely tasty. The Burger I saved to eat at home and that was still hot when 30 minutes I arrived home. Well done West Way fisheries and your Social Distancing rules are very very good. It's not often I can say this about other chip shops that I've visited but this is the best chip shop I've visited in a very long time,, and others could learn from West way fisheries...

I live quite close to this shop, and have used it regularly since moving here as the food is reasonable, not great but reasonable. However, lately they have taken to closing very early if it goes quiet. Bloody annoying when you've walked round the block in the hissing rain on a Saturday night at 7.45 to find they've closed when they advertise opening to 9.30pm. I was surprised how gross this was. It was the first time having a takeaway for a while and I'm really disappointed, honestly they should pay me to eat here, not the other way around. I had to wait 25m for an order that I made on the phone and it was so hard to find somewhere nearby to wait in the car.
