Blair's Castlewood Holiday Park — Local services in Ireland

Liked: Took our new touring caravan for the night just too "test" it. Booked Castlewood as it was the only place available really. However glad we did. Great and well cleaned facilities. Plenty to do on site. The staff I dealt with (reception and Tree Top Adventure) were great. Was a bit uncertain about having to pay for the electric and based on my camping experience this was unusual, however you top up the card with at least £10 and you get a refund of what is not used. for 20 hours onsite we didnt even reach £2 on the card, and i think this was well worth it when you look at how well kept everything is!

Also very close to shops, food, and cinema.

The cleanest and most well kept campsite I've ever been to. Check in and check out were super easy. The facilities were spotless and modern. Toilets and showers were great. Lots of space around your site with the most beautiful back drop of trees. You would never think you were in the middle of a town. Walking distance to Antrim Castle Gardens, although a bit of a walk to Loughshore. However, only about 5 mins in the car. New playpark for the kids. Loved the look of the glamping pods too (especially the location and the hot tubs), although we were camping in our van. It was like a woodland wonderland. Staff were also really helpful and chatty, checking in and answered all our questions....

We stayed at a cabin this weekend as a family and added the extra hot tub—such a great choice! The whole stay exceeded our expectations. The cabin was even better than we anticipated, with everything we needed for a comfortable break.||We opted for the laundry pack instead of bringing our own bedding, and everything was lovely and clean, especially the toilets and shower block. The park itself is quiet and peaceful—perfect for a two-night escape.||The highlight of the trip was the sandy cove. We were lucky with the weather, which made it even more enjoyable. We’d definitely stay again if we're visiting Antrim...
