Georges Pizza — Local services in Leeds

I take back my 5 star review from the 2 nights ago. Phoned them at 23.47 to ask if they were still accepting deliveries to Bexley Wing in St. James Hospital, the guy on the phone said they were so I placed my order, explaining the main entrance was at the back, then went downstairs to wait as they appeared from the other night to be a fast efficient takeaway. Got a call from the store at 00.01 to say the driver was setting off and was not disappointed, although I soon would be. At 00.12 the driver phones me from a private number and tells me he's at the front of Bexley Wing so i explain that the main entrance is at the back and explained how to get there, but even though I did this there was still no sign of him 8 minutes later, so at 00.20 I called the store back to express concern the driver had gotten lost, which would be understandable, only to get angrily shouted at by the man who amswered the phone that the driver had been looking for me for 40 minutes, despite it not even being that long since the order was placed so I attempted to explain only to be sarcasticly told that I would be lucky if the driver hadn't gone home with my order. Waited another 20 minutes downstairs just incase he had got me confused with someone else, but the food was a no show. I am extremely disappointed to have been treated like this and would NOT recommend this takeaway to anyone else...

It will always be a part of my heart to miss this takeaway. During my time living in dial street, George's meals were fresh, yummy, tasty, excellent and filling with good standards. George has always been kind and provided great service. With love, respect, honesty, and delicious food, I cannot fault the man who looked after us and his customers. It's always a pleasure to eat the food here. My only complaint is that I haven't been able to try everything on the menu. What a wonderful man and what an awesome takeaway that is not only historic but also offers great service from George. Thank you very much, George and your team, for all those awesome takeaways. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. In total the order took nearly 2 hours to get delivered (even though I live less than a km away). I was waiting out the front for the delivery driver for 20 minutes as hadn’t heard anything at the hour mark. Called the store and was very aggressively shouted at saying the delivery driver was out the front waiting for me and then got hung up on. Called back saying I was out the front waiting and he proceeded to yell again saying that the delivery driver had been waiting 30 minutes for me. The driver eventually showed up, pizza was cold and had no flavour. Would never order from here again and advise everyone else not...
