Super, beautiful place in Leeds! It's good fabulous stained glass windows and throughout and is steeped in history. There's a great organ there and it sounds amazing. There's a cafe, seating area serving hot and cold drinks, a few cakes and homemade sandwiches, all run by really kind and lovely (elderly) volunteers. I took my granddaughter to visit the Minster on a Friday lunchtime . It was a good educational visit for us both actually. Read moreTiny Minster that packs a beautiful punch. The choir are fabulous, as are the staff. I felt so so welcome when going. :]
I was invited to tea and cake following Eucharist which was super delicious.
There are also many guest speakers. I got to learn about so many things, including about the grueling truth of what's going on inside the DRC. Frederico opened a very detailed conversation about what was happening inside. I couldn't have been more honoured to have heard his story.
There are groups for minorities such as a Chinese and Ukrainian group.
It's a really diverse, and lovely space. I greatly enjoyed...
