How often is it that you can go somewhere for tattoos and bagels and leave with lifelong friends?
Courtney is such a caring amazing person who takes a genuine interest in your thoughts and feelings (not just about your tattoo), her solo studio is such a chilled out non judgemental space which is sooo hard to come by in the tattoo industry. Sheās done 90% of my tattoos and I wouldnāt go anywhere else now, sheās not just an artist sheās a friend.
The rebrand on the coffee shop is amazing, like who doesnāt love bagels? You find sometimes that things can be āoverdoneā but Dan and the team really do find ways to keep things fresh. The vibes from the whole shop are just so relaxed and calming which is defo what you need if your loading before a tattoo! Always so friendly welcoming and doggo friendly too which is a massive plus.
If youāre in Morley or even if your not, a trip to see these guys is defo required!
Lots of love for the humble team...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGot two piercings done here by the trainee piercer, and itās not even worth it even with it just being Ā£20. One was pierced on an angle which means itāll never heal and was constantly in pain and the jewellery used was far too long, even for swelling a 10mm bar is fine but this was more like a 12 or 14 which meant it was constantly in the way and moving. I got them done in May and took the angled one out recently as I was still holding out hope for it, I sized them both down but it barely helped and even now the one i still have in doesnāt look like itāll ever heal properly. Never had an experience like this in years of getting pierced. The atmosphere in the studio was weird as well, no one spoke to me when I walked in and itās only small so itās easy to feel uneasy and the piercer himself barely spoke and didnāt look at me once. Strange vibes and piercing practices are just...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery small cafe that advertise vegan food... Unfortunately the choice is very limited. I suffer with a few allergies that I notified the staff about as I ordered. Still was served a dish that was full of a food I can't eat, and when I told the staff about it they told me it was not said food until they read the packaging and saw it was indeed one of the main ingredients. My daughter had a full english and left half of it as it was overcooked. It is a very small place and there was no music so it was a bit awkward, nor baby chair (I should have checked that prior to my visit), so definitely would not recommend for families. Nor for vegans.
The staff apologised profusely and didn't charge us for our meal, which I am glad about because we didn't eat... Also glad my allergy is not...
