Absolutely horrendous. I ordered 2 ribeye steaks. I was given some kind of unknown fatty meat unceremoniously dumped into a carrier bag. It was most certainly not ribeye steak..Unlabelled of course -it could have been anything. No sell by date. Was it 30 day. Was it angus or what. This unscrupulous practice must be or should be illegal. I will we be reporting this to trading standards. Packed by a dodgy looking geezer who hides up in the van so you can't see what he is doing. He is not a quality butcher that's for sure. I feel that if I had asked for sirloin or owt else I would have been given the same excuse for meat. I also bought chicken thighs in a bag. They were in some kind of powder and looked dreadful. I also bought bacon which was thick cut and extremely salty. It was not of satisfactory quality. Not danish that's for sure. Did I mention the sausages. All fat and rusk and cheap fillers. They lacked one thing - pork. It's cheap meat for a reason. They park their vans in low income areas around Liverpool and offer inferior quality meat at lower prices. If you want quality meat go to a quality butcher such as bexley etc . There are a few in liverpool believe it or not. It will be a bit more expensive but I would rather pay more for the superior quality. Even the supermarkets quality is far superior to what you find here. Bottom line is if you have 10 kids to feed and are on benefits then go here. If you are a more discerning customer who wants quality first then avoid Wayne's vans like the plague. You get what you pay for. So true. It mr walker would like to discuss this with me feel free to do so . Just put a phone no up for that purpose. In the meantime I can only advise customers who put quality first to look elsewhere. It breaks my heart to see poor people queuing up to buy this garbage. So sad. Always buy quality with traceable provenance instead. Ps I nearly forgot. I saw a dog cock his leg and pee on some of the plastic crates with the meat on. This food is sat on the sidewalk which is obviously not a good hygiene practice. I walked. Drive on past. Van parks off the A57...

I’ve been visiting them since they opened in Stoke-on-Trent, and when they arrived in Liverpool, I was thrilled. The quality of their meat is absolutely top-notch, and I’d recommend them to anyone without hesitation.
The staff are incredibly friendly and always make an effort to remember their customers. If there’s ever something you don’t see on the shelf, they’re quick to help and go out of their way to make sure you leave satisfied.
Price-wise, they’re very competitive with local supermarkets, but the quality here is leagues ahead. If you’re looking for great meat and excellent service, Wayne Walkers is the...
