Heritage Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Liverpool

Great location, and sounds as a good place to have some food while charging my electric vehicle.

Not too welcoming staff (2 woman), both of them were on their phones - acted very busy…

There was no any other customers at the time of my visit, but urged me to order. Like a rush hour or I don’t know. The typical ‘a what’ question after every single word I said (they might need further communication training?!). Asked the 2 portion of fish and chips well done and a sweet -fruity- and a normal curry sauce.

Fish was okay, just as average as anywhere else. Chips were not cooked properly- tasted like blanched (cooked them 1 minute in the oil, or defrost until completely soft, then 1 minute in the oil).

Sweet (fruity) curry had the same taste as the ‘normal’, bitterish…

Didn’t like the food, but most probably the attitude was worse than the food. After I’ve been served the two woman gone straight away on their phone screen.

Asked them about the toilet, they pointed on a barricade, it is closed unfortunately 🤷🏻‍♂️

They didn’t give me any positive experience at all. I’ve been there, tick ✅ and I think that’s all....

I go here quite often and so do my colleagues as customer normally once or twice a week . Food good however went there this evening I was desperate for the loo and was refused I explained I suffer from crohns disease and I'm a regular in there . They refused point blank n said customer toilets are for customers. Well the just lost 10 or 20 customers there . As we won't go there again what happened to people looking out for eachother . Nice staff, nice enough place, though when the fans start arriving in their hundreds I can see it being hell, the food was OK, ordered a burger meal, burger cooked enough but bog standard, bacon a bit stringy, salad wasn't great, chips look like they come out of a microwave and tasted that way, so i don't think I'll be visiting again, but you never know, but if they started cooking the chips, that...
