I recently visited Codfellas and had an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff set the tone for a fantastic meal.

We decided to sample a variety of dishes, and every single one was a hit! The chicken wings were perfectly crispy and flavorful, offering a great start to our feast. The chips were golden and cooked to perfection, providing the ideal companion to the main attractions.

The star of the show, the cod, was superb. It was fresh, flaky, and coated in a light, crispy batter that was simply divine. Accompanied by the classic mushy peas and a rich, flavorful curry sauce, each bite was a true pleasure.

The scallops were another highlight – tender, juicy, and cooked just right. They paired wonderfully with the other dishes, creating a harmonious blend of flavors that left us thoroughly satisfied.

Codfellas is more than just a chip shop; it’s a culinary experience. Every dish was prepared with care and attention to detail, making it clear that quality and customer satisfaction are top priorities here. This place is excellent we moved to the area just over 2 years ago now. I first used them for fish and chips which is always fantastic food the best around here. My girlfriend always has the battered halloumi which is really tasty I've tried it to and its spot on. Recently found out their on just eat so home delivery to and they sell kebabs to which are better than any kebab shop around here. Really big portions lovely meat loads of salad and all really fresh and always delivered steaming hot. If I could give them 10 stars I would. My brother tried their kebabs to today for the first time and he was very impressed he said its a solid 10 out of 10 and he's a bit of a kebab conisuir these went down well with a couple of beers to a must for any good Saturday evening. I will next try the chicken and chips which I've herd from a friend is also very nice from here. If you have not tried this place yet you are missing out massively this is the best place to go for fish and chips...

I’ve thought long and hard about this review and have decided not to be paid, although I’ll do anything for a bag of chips… I’ve been using Codfellas since it opened for the most obvious reasons. The standard of the food served is first class. The portions are ridiculously generous. The staff are truly welcoming and hardworking. They each have unique skillsets to produce those results. TJ cooks the fish to perfection and the genial maître d', Palli, just looks good, such is his addiction to the salon. You’ll never catch him without product on.
