Mahathma Tandoori — Restaurant in London

Wow!! What a night. I got taken to this restaurant months ago by a friend and thought it was great. Food was fantastic, service pretty good. I went with a friend tonight and it was an absolute joke. I will start by saying the food was amazing, however the staff not so. We arrive at 9.15pm, wasn’t allowed to order a starter because they shut at 10pm. We ordered our main meal, but constantly got reminded that we need to be done by 10pm. The food came out, and it was great but at 10.15 was basically told to finish our drinks outside because they needed to close. I will visit again , but only to abuse the very rude waiter that served us . I look forward to seeing you again very soon, you extremely rude...

Food is amazing here, and the times I've gone the atmosphere has been really pleasant, the staff don't hang around staring at you but are within easy reach if you need anything.

Some of my group have some allergies and the staff and chefs here will go out of their way to help which is lovely.

Prices are actually good from my experience but I stick to pints of coke which is never cheap in any shop ever. Food prices are decent and I've never left feeling like I've spent more than I gained if that makes sense so very happy here too.

Overall definitely somewhere I will (and have) come back to time...

By far the worst Indian experience I’ve ever had after entering the EMPTY Restaurant Was given a takeaway menu

Then given plastic take away tubs for our dips/ starters So questioned this with Waiter Even he agreed They saving on washing up What a joke or a place! Then given two flat pints Ask to change the waiter then sticks his finger in beer

Swirled it around in the glass Telling me it’s not flat Even tho he don’t drink!!! Told me it’s not flat and refused to change

At this point we walked out And Was asked to pay £5 for the privilege

Very rude

Very uncomfortable...
