🍕 INDEPENDENT PIZZA RESTAURANT 🔥 🍕 @MammaDough South Norwood 🚉 Norwood Junction Station 📌 Other branches; Brixton, Peckham, Ladywell, Sydenham Mamma Dough is a neighbourhood pizzeria in South Norwood that serves up handcrafted sourdough pizzas and craft beer. Mamma’s dough is hand rolled daily from Shipton Mill organic rye, wholemeal & white flour. We decided to try some of the new items from the menu, with starters of Bambinoughs (Parmesan dough bites with dip) and Parmagiana pizza, which tasted like the real dish. We also ordered the Green Eggs and Ham pizza from the specials board and finished with two huge slices of Tiramisu. They change their specials frequently and have seasonal additions to their menu. If you love parmagiana, then you may want to head on over here to give it a go. Mamma Dough is a laid-back restaurant perfect for pizza lovers. This restaurant is fast becoming a hub for the local community, ideal for date nights, casual lunches, or dinner with the whole family. They also have a great children’s meal option for £8, which gets you a bunny pizza, a drink, and ice cream. *AD/PR

Absolutely wild to me that there’s an accessible toilet here despite the complete lack of step free access throughout the station. Plus the toilet was boiling hot, luckily I was tall enough to reach and turn the heater off. I was on my way home a few hours later so went to check if the heater needed turning back on but it was still plenty warm if you ask me. The toilet itself was also a little difficult to flush, and the lock on the door didn’t feel entirely trustworthy to me.

This station has 7 platforms platforms 2, 3, 4 & 5 are very narrow so when high speed trains pass through for me it can be dangerous. Also the platforms are very long so there is plenty of room for a number of passengers especially when Crystal Palace FC are at home. Sadly no lifts at this station. But good trains services on the London Overground Southern & Thameslink that all stops here.

Best commuter station one could dream of - 13 minutes to London Bridge! But if you need to get to King's Cross, Clapham, Victoria, Gatwick etc. etc. Then this station is ready to take you where you need to be.

PLUS! The two entrances make it accessible for the whole area - it's a small detail but golly is it useful when you fancy popping down to the Portland Arms instead of the usual high street evening.

Some delays and cancellations, but you'll have that anywhere in...

Worst station if you have a buggy as lots of steps to platforms. Have been helped by other lovely passengers before but the staff are horrible. Either talking amongst eachother ignoring the customers or on their phones laughing away. The first time I used this station I had a newborn in a buggy and the nasty man who worked there just laughed at me when I asked if there was any step free access...should feel ashamed of themselves....ps thank you for customers who help...
