The atmosphere was lively when i went in there was a game on so there was bound to be an audience . It has a nice large TV to watch the game at every angle but to be honest if it was possible to give 0.5 stars I would because i don't like being pressured to get a drink when i have only been there for 7 minutes but this was not the tipping point. I understand that a business needs to make revenue by customers paying for drinks this was fine with but i did not like it when a random NPC person got involved and started questioning if i was going to get a drink and if not i should leave. If that is the welcoming that a intrigued customer gets then this is very insulting .

The woman at the bar is lovely but it is a shame a random person had to ruin...

Good atmosphere on matchdays and large beer garden when the weather is good. BBQ also gets an outing when the weather is nice although I have yet to try the food.

Can get a bit over crowded on match days but it does not bother me but sometime to bear in mind if you dont like big crowds.

Decent selection of drinks although they will all be served in plastic cups. Service can take a while depending on how busy it is but never too bad.

Shows live football and right beside the train station which is handy. About a fifteen minute walk to...

TheYoung lady in the bar (jess) is the most adorable human being, she's just a charm and without her,this pub would lose a big fraction of its vibe. From knowing the names of her regular customers to knowing what they drink before they even ask. Went there for the first time and she made me feel much welcome. Now I always go back when I feel for a cold beer and have a old lil chat with jess.. this place is just calm and easy going!!! Service is on point foe a old pub.....
