Park up for free near the entrance go through the gate turn left or right and get walking .The circular route will bring you right back to the entrance which will now be your exit ! and a nearby pub/restaurant ,The Sydney Arms awaits to refresh you .You can do this very popular walk briskly in about an hour or add up to another half an hour for leisurely or obviously longer with kids who like to stray and investigate ! This well maintained woodland park is a haven for children and also dog walkers.See how many of the following you can spot. Picnic area, fun sundial, bat boxes,Manor House remains complete with moat plus horses (Don't worry the're fenced off.) plus wood carvings. So what are you waiting for ? Get out in the fresh air and blow the cobwebs off.Its all Free, apart from the pub ,and you can do it at your own pace. All you need is energy, which is also...

I live next to Scadbury so know it really well. In recent years motor cycles have frequented it and dogs off lead. They need to either allow dogs on lead or off lead. Dogs on lead often feel threatened by those off lead. When I questioned those in charge they say it's patrolled! My family home has been next to Scadbury since 1960; not once have I ever seen a patrol. So I question the validity of this statement by Bromley council. At least at High Elms they made a decision to make it dog friendly but due to lockdown and 5 miles away I have not been. I suggest they make it so dogs can go off lead officially or none are allowed off lead and it's enforced. Also they should put a proper bicycle path in a circle round the entirety so cyclists can enjoy it but clamp down on motorised vehicles. Was 5 stars in the 60s...

Amazing Peacefull walk at these woods horses peeping over fences wild parakeets above in the trees wild budgies as well as our native birds , Popular with familys walking and dog walkers and there's a wooden assault course for kids made from fallen trees at the picnic tables about a quarter of the way through the pathway walk ... theres a Harry Potter tree that's got a hole through it 😊kids climb it all the time ... sunken coated manor house as well for the history buffs out there .. slow walk is an hour and a half brisk walk or jog around the paths 45 mins to an hour ... Depending on ability in the dry weather all access is ok in the wet or snow some slippery patches and a steep hill so if your unsteady on your feet go in the dryer warmer times ... lovely peacefull place takes some carrots the horses love...

🌿 A Hidden Gem in Nature 🌿 Scadbury Park is a beautiful, peaceful escape from the busy world. The woodlands are full of charm, with winding trails perfect for walking, dog-walking, or just clearing your head. There’s something really calming about the tall trees, open fields, and quiet spots to just sit and take it all in. You might spot horses, squirrels, It’s also a lovely place for families or a solo stroll — safe, clean, and well looked after. Whether you're a nature lover, history fan (the old ruins are fascinating!), or just want some fresh air, Scadbury Park is a little slice of calm you’ll want to keep coming back to. Highly recommend if you’re in the area 🌳✨

This was a beautiful nature trail in the heart of Bromley. We were well equipped with our wellies and picnic for a long circular walk on the Scot’s trail bumping into the Manor House, walking past some beautiful horses before settling down for some picnic in the designated area with benches, bins, log play area and some shade. Things a beautiful area and the trails are signposted to avoid getting lost. There were 25 bears to find on the trail and 20 posts to walk past but there are maps along the way to avoid you missing your way. It was a fun activity for the family. Free car park too which made getting there very convenient.
