Myself, brother & friend did the multi activity day, marketed as 5 separate experiences… but in reality is 6 (air rifles & air guns), but you could argue 8 (axe throwing was actually 3 different types of throwing instruments), anyhow, that’s irrelevant - brilliant… everything, from start to finish. The initial booking was a real head banging challenge due to multi external voucher purchases & thought I’d never get there! Perhaps without the patience & expertise of David, then I’m sure I would’ve given up…. He was sympathetic, knowledgeable & understanding…helped me every step along the way - definitely deserves a raise, because if it wasn’t for him, then this wouldn’t have happened. The day itself: greeted by the friendly fore-mentioned David, checked in with ease, introduced to Damian who would direct us through 4/5 (or 7!) of our days experiences, with amazingly great knowledge & humour, he was fab - just putting up with us without walking out or putting an axe in my head speaks volumes… another real asset to your brand & of course, deserves a raise too. Ian was in charge of the assault rifles… 1st time for all 3 of us to shoot with a semi automatic weapon & with live rounds, a definite yes for anyone thinking about trying it out. Ian was as great as all the other staff we encountered - but due to the fact i think he’s co owner, manager, boss, partner etc…..Probably doesn’t need a raise! Despite spending an eternity dealing with the initial booking with Dave (via Ian in the background), I still received a call from Alan (the owner) & further email querying a voucher issue… this was resolved very quickly, efficiently & with ease, despite this, Alan as the owner does definitely not deserve a raise :-) So, just to sum up: BOOK & GO (no, I’m not on commission). Thank you so so much to all of you for making our day so amazing… we’ll definitely be back, even if it’s because I only won 1 winners medal this time & my brother won 3!!! ‘OMG, listen, I jingle as I walk’ said my brother constantly as his 3 medals around his neck strikes together in...
Read moreI booked a rifle shooting experience (for which we paid £78) with Target Sports Romford but the experience was ruined by the rude and inflexible owner, Alan, who also happens to be the unfriendly face at reception.
Due to major transport disruptions (Elizabeth Line issues and traffic), I arrived 15 minutes late after a 2.5-hour journey across London. Despite explaining the situation, Alan showed no understanding or willingness to help, refusing to allow us to go ahead with the experience, reschedule or refund me. He was dismissive, unpleasant, and made it clear he had no interest in customer satisfaction.
It’s a shame he is singlehandedly ruining the customer experience because Sam, the archery instructor, was great—friendly, professional, and helpful. Unfortunately, Alan’s attitude made sure I’ll never return. If Sam sees this review: please know YOU personally deserve 5 stars, it’s Alan alone who soured our experience and wasted our time & money.
Their no-late-arrivals policy is buried in the fine print and not mentioned in the confirmation email, which feels intentionally misleading. Most businesses show some level of flexibility for genuine issues, but not here. If you’re delayed for any reason, expect to lose your money and be treated poorly.
I will be warning away all friends, family members, and colleagues from using this place.
Customer service and basic decency go a long way, and unfortunately, this business (Alan in particular) lacks both. Would...
Read more15-05-24 - My father & myself went along for a session of the live fire assault rifles. Our host, E (sorry, don’t know the spelling of his name) was very friendly, knowledgeable & very helpful throughout the whole session. A definite credit to this company.
You start off with a 20 round mag for a bullseye target & then proceed onto selecting your own target sheet (various choices). It was only the right choice for me to choose the zombie 🧟♂️ seeming as I’ve done a ton of zombie scare acting in my past. For this round you get a 20 round mag & a 10 round mag so you get the opportunity to lock & load a magazine round, which nicely adds to the experience.
Safety is obviously taken very seriously but I personally felt very comfortable with the instructions being given. During my shooting I did get some jams but E was very helpful in resolving these issues for me. Protective goggles & ear protectors are supplied.
At the end we were given the opportunity to purchase some more magazine rounds but we decided to pass on this offer.
Besides the assault rifles, there are also other activities on offer too such as crossbows, axe / knife throwing.
Pricing is respectable.
I will...
