I went to store pharmacy asking for ear drops, she can’t give me medical suggestions and when her colleague try to help me go find the medicine, she disturbed him and told her colleague let me go to GP. First of all, I want say thank you to the gentleman, even you can’t help me in the end but I still appreciate what you did that day. I’m so disappointed about the store complain system, when I try to complain with the manager Nicola, she said the pharmacy is not belong to tesco, she can’t take the complaint, even the pharmacy lady wearing the tesco uniform! all she does is give me the complain telephone number, she doesn’t even listen to the story. She also doesn’t give me the pharmacy ladies’ name or her staff number. She said she wants to protect her staff? You said pharmacy is not belong to tesco and now the pharmacy lady is your staff? That’s make me even more angry!!! So who gonna protect customers’ rights? Excuse me??? That’s so funny, if I want to make a complaint, I don’t even have the involve person’s name or staff number, so how can I make the complaint? I have to went to the other pharmacy-Everest pharmacy and I get the ear drops from there. Their staff are very friendly , the lady listens to my request and gives me suggestions, she also mentioned it’s a very common ear drops, every pharmacy has this. All pharmacy staff can give advice depends on customer’s situation.

First time I have used Google review and hopefully my last. On my way home from visiting family, I popped into Tesco Gorton, which is a slight detour for me, at about 21:40, as I really don't have veg for Christmas dinner and would save me time going to Asda tomorrow. The store was fairly quiet apart from the usual scroats on the rob. I picked up a few things more than I wanted, but was looking for a particular item so was looking for staff to ask as I'm not familiar with the stores layout, most were just having a chat or were not interested in customers, and didn't want to disturb them. I was just wandering around, but couldn't find the items I was looking for. On one aisles I was walking down, I did see a female member of staff but she looked like she was doing some shopping as she had finished for the night. I asked if she was off duty, she said yes, not a problem as I could ask another member of staff working. But after she said 'yes' she just LAUGHED at me! Hence why I have sent this review. I carried on looking for the items for about another 20 minutes. That member off staff will know who they are as I don't know who she is. I will never shop at this store again. I will continue to shop at Asda, much more helpful and pleasant staff. Apologies for all the decent staff that work at Gorton Tesco but the lady finishing at about 22:00...

FIRST AND LAST VISIT!! Rung up this place ahead of going(as we were not living near the store), to see if they were selling the new ruby kitkat. I rung the actual number for the store. The Gentleman i spoke to on the phone looked on his computer and said yes they do have it at the gorton store. So based on this employees advice, we paid for a taxi to the store with wasn't cheap. When we got there, nowhere to be seen. So we went over to the customer service desk and they were clueless too, the lady did go look in the stock room then came back ages later saying no they don't have it. What the hell? We paid money to get there and back by taxi on the promise that they had it there. The woman denied us having rung the store saying we must have spoken to a call centre we didn't we spoke to the gorton store hence the guy saying 'hello gorton' when he picked up the phone -_- then when we were outside a woman wanted her pound coin back out of her trolley but there was no chain on the one infront so she couldn't get it out so we took it to a different row and turned it backwards so the chain from the bigger one could reach her trolley. then she got her pound back and almost immediately an employee came over and moved the trolley cos it was now obviously in the way.
