YO! Newcastle Upon Tyne Tesco Kiosk — Local services in Newcastle upon Tyne

I don't know how this concession dare use the Yo Sushi name. The rice is often undercooked. Today was the last chance I gave it. I spent over £20 today and the rice on everything is rock hard. The salmon nigiri uses the tiniest slivers of salmon you've ever seen, an absolute disgrace at almost £7 for 6 pieces. They deliberately move the sushi going out of date today to the front so less suspecting shoppers will pick out raw salmon that isn't even fresh! (standard Yo Sushi restaurants have time stamps on any raw food to be used within a certain few HOURS of when it's prepared, yet I saw food on this stand packaged with a use by date of three days from today!!). Went to this outlet as I had recently been to the outlet in the large Tesco close to Carville/Belmont in Durham where I had enjoyed a delicious succulent chicken platter. Today’s experience was the polar opposite . I had the smaller fish platter. The rice was dried out and the fish was disgusting. Even my dog turned his nose up at it ! There were no staff to be seen and I shall not be visiting that...

The rice is - to no exaggeration - always undercooked. There never usually seems to be anybody at the kiosk either which is a bit odd. It's a shame because I love yo sushi, and this kiosk is not at all representative of the other yo sushi restaurants I've been to. Its not terrible food, but it's not great and not what I'd expected...
