Lousy customer experience

I wouldn't usually review an ice cream parlour but I was annoyed at what happened that I wanted to warn others about what they are like to their customers.

I bought 4 Ice creams off them at Chelmsford Festival Oakland park. I handed 2 to my children and received the other two.

Immediately after I paid and had taken one step one of the cones collapsed sending the ice cream on the floor. At thus point i had one ice cream in each hand. The bottom of the cone just disintegrated (it seemed wet when handed to me) as I wasn't holding it overlly tight.

A couple of people in the queue saw this and kindly let me go back to the front of the quest i had 2 seconds ago left where i explained to the staff that the cone collapsed and asked for another.

I heard the lady serving whisper to her colleague "shall we give it for free" and didn't hear the response but I was quite shocked when they asked me for another £3. I hadn't even considered after I had explained what had happened that they would charge me.

I looked at the woman behind me who was quite surprised too. I didn't argue, It was little embarrassing as there was a queue behind me and I couldn't go back to my family missing an ice-cream so I paid and it was only after I thought abou I realised they had served me a faulty cone and then made me pay for a replacement.

I wouldn't mind if id dropped it or mishandled it but this was not the case. We go to southend and have had ice creams at Rossi as it seemed a tasty wholesome family brand, its not the extra £3 they squeezed off me after spending a tenner with them but i for one will never use them again.

Unfortunately they seem to be just another place relying on one time customers because, I presume, they'll always have new ones.

Best off walking to a parlour that looks after their loyal customers...

Ice cream was delicious TOILETS WERE ABSOLUTELY FILTHY DIRTY ASKED TO SPEAK TO MANAGER WAS TOLD THAT THE TOILETS HAD BEEN CLEANED THAT MORNING I SAID NO AS THERE WAS THICK DUST ON THE SANATORY BOX GREY AND ABOUT 2INCHES THICK.. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE IN A ESTABLISHMENT THAT SELLS NOT ONLY FOOD BUT ICE CREAM AND THE STAFF USE THE SAME TOILET. I AM GOING TO REPORT TO HEALTH AND HYGIENE LOCALLY THIS IS...

Just purchased Rossi chocolate flavour ICE cream from the co op. Possibly the worst ice cream ive ever tasted. Tastes very cheap, not at all creamy, lots of ice crystals formed in the ice cream... Not...
