We had the most amazing time white water rafting at Holme Pierrepont in Nottingham! Our families, including our 14-year-old daughter, couldn't have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, it was absolutely fantastic.

We want to give a huge shoutout to Danny, the manager, who somehow managed to squeeze us in last minute. His efforts made the whole adventure possible, and we're incredibly grateful for that.

When we arrived, we were met with a warm welcome from Sam, the guide who would be taking us down the rapids. Despite it being his last trip of the day, he was full of energy, passion, and professionalism. Sam's excitement was contagious, and he instantly put us at ease.

The safety briefing was thorough and reassuring, which allowed us to focus on the fun ahead. Once on the water, Sam's guidance was clear and tailored to our group's abilities. Our 14-year-old daughter felt comfortable and confident thanks to Sam's support.

The experience on the rapids were exhilarating, and we all worked together as a team to conquer them. Our daughter absolutely loved the adventure, and getting completely soaked added an extra layer of excitement for her. Neil another safety guide watched over us and managed to rescue a runaway oar! My wife bought me a white water rafting experience as a voucher for my birthday prior to Covid. When I came to book this, Danny, the manager was very supportive in identifying a time and date when I could use this.

On the day, Danny and Matt greeted us and were really clear as to what we needed to do. It was clear that the team had put a lot of measures in place to help cope with the pandemic and we felt very safe.

Due to Covid restrictions my son and I were in a boat on our own. Ben, our guide was absolutely fantastic. Full of enthusiasm and knowledge, he made sure we had a truly brilliant and memorable experience.

After the event, Danny shared some videos he'd taken of us on our runs. They were fantastic and a lovely lasting reminder.

All in all, we couldn't have been in better hands. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone, as long as they don't mind...

Enjoyable white water rafting experience as part of a stag party. Our instructor, Jake, was very good- good briefing and communication throughout as he had to make up for our terrible paddling skills. The other staff members were also very helpful and welcoming to our group. I Highly recommend coming here. One main issue- the course is not that long, so you have to carry your raft up a hill and along a path, then paddle for a bit to get back to the start of the course- 3 times in total. This was quite tiring for a group of 6 men, so it must be very difficult for a group with younger people in. If there was an easier way to do this (wheels/ramp?), it would have made the experience...
