Lashes by SM — Local services in Sandwell

If I could give 0 stars I would. Booked my lashes for a day before my holiday, as my usual lash tech was not available. Accidentally fell asleep as I hadn’t slept in 2 days and woke up at the time of my lash appointment. I understand this was my fault and was very apologetic, called her to let her know I would have to cancel. Beyond rude over the phone, sighed very loud, told me “what do you want me to do about it?” with so much attitude and said “I’m not rescheduling it”, which I did not mind as it was my fault, but the manner with which it was said appalled me. I apologised profusely, and she cut the phone call on me. I had already paid a £23 deposit, which is non-refundable and I understood there was a £20 cancellation/no show fee as stated when booking, which I would have been happy to pay, as I understand. She then took £32 out of my bank account, which I don’t even know how she did, as she shouldn’t have access to be able to take money out of my account. Will be calling my bank about this. Literally the worst service I have ever received. Even if she had offered to reschedule, I would not have taken it....

I had an amazing experience training with Shania for the Classic Beginners Lash Extension course. She went above and beyond to fit me into her diary on her non-working day, which I really appreciated!

Not only was the training valuable, but Shania was also so friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience enjoyable. I’d definitely return to learn more skills with her in the future....
