A staff member was very rude to us, when we got there my daughter asked if she could use their toilet a lady refuse her said to use one in campsite my daughter processed to tell them she couldn't hold it in anymore she said there's no toilets there she's allowed to use, so she went and pee in some bushes, Then the same lady comes out shouting about her doing that it saying it was unacceptable for her to be peeing in the bushes I told she couldn't hold it in she was BURSTING and had bladder issues, she didn't seem to care about that and said don't let it happen again, 😡 then started shouting at my sister for apparently speeding she was going 5 miles an hour, got to the campsite she comes up to where we setting up camp, and says rudely you're only allowed one vehicle at the campsite, my sister said yes I know but we're not finished setting up, she said just make sure you move it up to the car park when your done, the next day a group of other comes in all in the same group with three cars all was parked on the campsite over night no sign of her telling them to move their cars 😡 then on the day we where leaving she was trying to blame my daughter for breaking one of the toilets doors my daughter is 12yrs really!!!    Read moreLovely place to go on a fine day. The walk in the woods was very relaxing. Saw plenty of deer, ducks, squirrels etc. There's a nice play park for kids and open fields for people to do things in.
There's toilets, picnic benches and plenty of parking not far from the entrance. You can't miss it.
It's a shame to see that the wee railway is no more. So many great childhood memories of that.
The old house at the end of the park has a fine café with a good varied menu. Staff were nice and the prices...
