The Alford Bistro — Restaurant in Scotland

I was working in tbe area last Friday and luckily I was near this little gem. I am really cautious about reviews before I decide where to eat and I seen the high reviews and honestly, it was deserved. The food and service exceeded my expectation. I was a bit unsure what to order and the staff were very friendly and gave my recommendations, I ordered a pulled pork roll at first, which unfortunately had just ran out, I had already paid and the staff asked me politely if I could choose something else. I chose the chicken burger and they didn't charge me any extra. It was probably one of the nicest chicken burgers I've ever eaten. Very flavourful and cooked to perfection. When I go back to this area for work I will return and I would recommend to my friends...

Came for Dinner with our 2 kids.

The kids bolognese was excellent and home made - also taster amazing!

The chicken liver pate and rough oat cakes tasted amazing and again as with all the food home made

The chefs curry that night was a Lamb Curry and was of the highest quality.

My partner had the Garlic Mushrooms and Bean Chilli, again no complaints - first class.

But been back in for a coffee and a came as the kids wanted to go back in and their "fancy pieces" were as good as their main meals!!!

We would highly recommend and next time we are back though in Aberdeenshire we will be certainly be good back again 😀

On the recommendations of a close friend we went in for lunch, we went in and asked for a drink each, before we sat at our table, after a discussion on what we wanted and the staff want we eventually got our drinks and sat at the table.
