Highland Horse Fun — Local services in Scotland

We'd booked for the family to enjoy a horse trek through some lovely scenery in Kingussie. They very helpfully let us leave our dog in a secure outside enclosure so that we could all enjoy the ride. We all thouroughly enjoyed it, we had two ladies with us, both friendly and great at giving tips. My horse was very single minded (unlike the others) and just plowed straight through some low hanging branches, luckily I was forewarned so avoided being hit in the face! We had an absolutely fantastic time at Highland Horse Fun with my daughter! They were incredibly welcoming and made sure we felt comfortable from the start. I requested a ride with intermediate knowledge, free to trot, but this information didn't make any difference. I explained that I had horses, but had just not ridden for a while. Even so, the ride was monotonous and I had to walk in a line the whole time with a person walking in front, while my husband was last and we weren't even able to share anything during the ride. We weren't allowed to do absolutely anything other than stand in line for an hour....
