Trekking around Agden reservoir and Low Bradfield will certainly get your blood pumping. A choice of either 2.5 or 3.5 miles routes, download from Yorkshire Water website. Some serious hills surround the reservoir and the views are spectacular. Some of the woodland paths need careful navigation and proper footwear. Well worth the effort.

Nice, peaceful reservoir walk through pleasant scenery and with amenities nearby in Bradfield. Paths can get muddy and it can get busy at peak times with parking becoming an issue.

Beautiful place located on the very edge of the peaks. A wonderful spot for a summertime walk.

Lovely place, not hilly. Dog friendly would recommend Wellington boots during the winter as some of the paths were a little on the muddy side on mid September. Benches on one side are nice for picnics or to just stop and gave a rest. Park in the pretty village of Bradfield, should take around 1 and a half hours to get round taking it steady. Myself, my wife and my 8 year old son all had a...

It's well worth having a walk around Agden Reservoir, the surroundings are stunning, and the presence of water always improves the scenery. 'Agden' means 'Valley of the Oak Trees', in which language I don't know, but it's well worth a walk in the vicinity, there is a circular walking trail but no swimming in the reservoir because it's very deep and dangerous because of...
