I gave it 1 star and that was being generous if I could give it 0 then i would have The food was too greasy The chicken was soggy The beef was rubbery The staff was unhelpful and that guy who I could go talk to usually is now gone 😭 The wait times were above what they said it would be and were longer than usual I would not recommend as there are many better places to go apart from this Chinese takeaway. This place has changed for the worse since last year. We were searching for a new local takeaway as another that we had historically used has closed under new ownership. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality (for the price) from Beighton Wok. We had a set meal for 3 and 1 extra black bean beef for 4 people and there was plenty. The flavour was great and we found the amount of veg, meat and sauce was balanced well so as not to overwhelm or to leave you wondering where the rest was. Ordered from Beighton Wok for many years and every time we’ve ordered food has been spot. Some friends of ours ordered from the local Chinese on Christmas Eve on just eat and it went terribly wrong and got cancelled. So me and my partner recommend beighton wok, and they was open Christmas Eve, they did the full order and added in some awesome extras and we had an awesome Christmas Eve feast.
