Khushboo Bangladeshi & Indian Takeaway — Local services in Sheffield

Have used Khushboo several times in the past and experience has been positive, food has been nice. Last time I ordered I arrived to collect our food 10 minutes after it should have been ready I then waited another 30 minutes, taking the total wait after order to an hour even though I was advised it would take 20 minutes. No apology was offered and I was grunted at and given my food, the pickle tray was also missing when I got home. I decided to give them another go as past experiences had been good. My girlfriend spoke to the phone operator and he couldn’t understand our order. She then passed me the phone to give him our order. I went through the order and he gave me the total which was higher than it should have been even before the 10% discount which is offered for collection had been taken off. I asked him about the amount and suggested he may have added it up wrong and asked about the discount, he claimed he was a new starter and he knew nothing about this. . I find this difficult to believe as it is displayed all around the takeaway when you walk in! I asked him if he could ask someone else in the shop about this and he told me he was the only person in the store as the chef had left for a “while”?! Upon me asking him how he planned to make us our meal if the chef had left he laughed down the phone at me and said again he didn’t know. Maybe this explains the hour wait last time if their chef just comes and go’s as he fancies? Ridiculous phone call all round and really poor attitude with customers twice on the bounce. Not the way to run a business, will be avoiding...

Absolutely disgusting order was wrong. Non of the food was fresh. The lamb in my rajistani grill was like boot leather. The prawns looked like some alien being. The sauce for the balti and the buhna tasted almost identical. I think there was a squeeze of lime in one which made it taste slightly different. Revolting, then when I phoned they were rude saying the meat was fresh. I am 43 have worked in many food establishments of all kinds and it was far from fresh. Instead of apologising he said I should have brought it back for an exchange. First of all I'm recovering from an operation. Secondly why would I want a replacement of any of that food. Truly awful.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT!

Ordered food 3 hours ago via their website. Phoned after an hour to be told the driver has it, phoned another hour later told there was an issue with the ordering system and it hadn’t gone through it would be with us half an hour later. Asked them for a partial refund and we were advised to cancel the order online and the refund would be processed the food would arrive in 30 minutes. Phoned back after another hour to be told it’s our fault, the order had been cancelled by us. The staff were telling lies, making out they never advised us and it was our fault.
