King’s Garden Chinese Takeaway — Local services in Sheffield

First time I’ve eaten here: was a little unsure seeing some of the reviews in the past but really good Chinese food: the best in the Stocksbridge/Deepcar area. Not too sweet, not too salty, good quality beef in the crispy chilli beef (there was actually beef rather than the deep fried fat you get elsewhere!) Used to travel 20 mins to get my Chinese but now will be using these going forward. Understand the frustration with the calling: I was lucky and got through first time but tried to add something to the order later and was just engaged - sign of how popular it is. Could maybe benefit from getting a phone that does call waiting so you can just be in a queue. But...

Just ordered a £94 order from this chinese, promised me 20% off discount from my last order for this one as it was cold last time, refused to give it me, got really annoyed with me and rude. he then refused to take my order and told us never to come back here again, really poor for a local Chinese as my dad works in the local steel works. put it this way, wouldn’t want to come back anyway after that customer...

Ordered a takeaway from here last week for the first time and I can honestly say it was the worst food I've ever had! Cold hard chips with hardly any potato in them, chewy prawn crackers, egg fried rice was brown and had a horrible smell to it and the curry itself was watery and not much meat in it. Honestly I'm so disappointed won't ever go...
