Where should I start. This place has some of the worst service I've had in all my years. What started out as a nice family brunch meal ended up a disaster. The place was clearly understaffed as service was awfully slow but this would have been relatively acceptable if the staff that were serving actually treated us with respect- which is to be expected considering we are paying customers. When we eventually did get out food, one of our orders were missing, the burger and eggs were undercooked (on multiple plates as we all ordered similar meals) and the hot drinks were lukewarm at best. Now, we would have been prepared to let the semi-cold food slide if, when speaking to the manager about the undercooked food, we weren't met with snarky retorts from an acting manager holding a frankly quite offensive nonchalance. To put it plainly: the woman was rude. She acted as if the matter of an inedible undercooked beef burger couldn't have been solved very simply by apologising and offering to make a new (cooked) one in replacement. It's not like we were asking her to remake the entire meal! Instead of responding like her employee (who took up the matter after the acting supervised walked off), the woman took one look at the burger and told us it was cooked. The. Meat. Was. Pink. Even her employee could see that. To end what has become a rather lengthy review I'll say this: I understand that the place was grossly understaffed at a time where there was many customers, however, both me, my family and the kind employee who dealt with is at the end know that that was no excuse for the food nor service we recieved. As someone who isn't from Luton but rather London (I came to visit family), and as someone of colour, I must say that me nor my family felt welcome and that the disrespect we were met with was completely...

Visited for dinner in a Saturday eve, was bustling but managed to get a seat OK. Every time I come to one of these franchises I forget I have to order at the bar or on my phone because it gives such resteraunt vibes I just assume someone's coming to me, and end up sitting like a doofus for 10 mins.

The space is nice and open, lots of consideration for young kids with a little toy corner which I love for keeping them distracted, always feels welcoming at places like this. Some limited outdoor seating too.

Staff were quick and attentive but looked a little harassed even after things calmed down a bit later. Staff considerately asked if we wanted metal or plastic cutlery for the kids but then forgot to bring them over. Also didn't ask us if we wanted any sauces but don't know if that's standard or not but had to go hunting for them. (See James' comment below. Indeed it was loud, entirely possible we were asked and we just didn't hear.)

Kids had beans on toast. Remarked "ooo they have the nice beans" I went for a beyond burger which I don't think you can really go wrong with. Not sure the American cheese slice added much. Unseasoned chips, but salt on the table so no issue there, but maybe a bit oily. Everything was cooked well and it came out super speedily.

I like the lounge franchise overall and Zorro is as good as the others, £50 for 4 meals and drinks, I feel like I got...

Loved it. I've wanted to try Zorro's for a while and I finally went this weekend for brunch. I had Eggs Benedict with Bacon and my other half had Spinach and Feta Shakshuka. Both were absolutely delicious! Portion sizes are good too, which meant I got to eat some of the Shakshuka, haha! I highly recommend both dishes.

It was busy when we went on a Saturday morning around 11am. We had to wait 10 minutes for a table, but the staff were great and wasted no time in cleaning a table and getting us seated. The service was swift too, which was great as I was very hungry! The prices are very reasonable, it cost less than I expected. The look of the place and the location made me expect to "pay through the nose" but I was pleasantly surprised.

A plus side for me is the craft beers on tap (Punk IPA and Planet Pale) and it's dog friendly. I'd take a waggy tailed dog over a screaming baby any day! It's also a nice place to be, plenty of natural light and a great welcoming feel... I'll definitely be back at Zorro's soon, maybe dinner and cocktails...
