Did the gin making / tasting session which was fun. The flavours we tried for adding to the gin were very overpowering, to point of making me gag and cough. It would have been nice if the instructor had talked us through the process a bit more, as most of the people in the group did not like the taste of the gin that they had made, so I guess we were all doing something wrong? I say that, because we were given a gin and tonic with one of Cambridge Distillery's established gins and it was delicious! Felt like a bit of a wasted opportunity, but it was fun...
Read moreHad a really enjoyable 90 mins or so doing the gin tasting and got given a really entertaining history of gin while learning about how the distillery does what it does. Had 3 tasters plus a full gin and tonic waiting for us plus were offered a chance to try several others which we duly did!
