Myanmar Express — Local services in South Cambridgeshire

This place serves fantastic Asian food in a small kiosk opposite Tesco Express. Curries on rice! Very flavorful, very authentic and has the right amount of spice kick! Very friendly and polite staff. Menu changes every week. If you are from Southeast Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia) or even India and you are craving for that comfort from Asian food, this place will hit the spot you are missing. Worth driving to from wherever you are!

Their beef & potato curry slaps and their chicken curry is the bomb. You also have to try their crunchy and fresh Samosas, spring rolls and onion bhajjis. Everything is very adorably priced with decent portions. Spare ribs are done so well and even their simplest item on the menu - The Egg Fried Rice is packing with flavour!

If you staying at the Travelodge or Premier Inn nearby, look no further. Dinner usually sells out by 7.15pm so be there when they open for dinner at 5. Morning and lunch...

I was in the area around lunchtime and had to try the food here after looking at all the great reviews. I ordered the pulled pork bap and it was incredible! Very tasty, good quality, freshly cooked food. It was so good I went back for more (and to get a photo this time!) I had loaded fries with hoisin pulled pork. The portion sizes are very generous and the food is the best, if only I lived closer I would eat here everyday! Hoping to return for an evening to try out...

I was staying at the Travelodge nearby and found this little gem. They serve true Burmese food . The lady serving the food was very nice, I ordered a vegetarian option and she immediately told me there were 2 vegetarian options and proposed to have them half and half. The aubergine curry was exceptional. The bhajis and the spring rolls weren't bad either. If I ever pop down again to Cambridge, I'm revisiting this...
