I’ve been going to Come Into Play for around 4 years, since just after my oldest was born. I go about every 3 weeks or so, so I think I’m probably a regular!

Both of my kids (4 year old and 20 month old) love it! I too love it! Both of my kids love exploring and that always gives me time to take a few sips of my free coffee (if you buy an Adventure Card you get a free drink each visit, this is on top of getting at least a 10% discount on admission charge).

There are 3 distinct play areas here, the first is for under 2’s and is in its own gated room, this room is usually a little warmer than the rest of the place.

The second area is clearly marked for 0 to 5 year olds, has a climbing area, a rope bridge, a slide, various tunnels and climb throughs and is cushioned throughout.

The last area is the main attraction for school age kids, with big slides, rope climbs, swings, tunnels and secret areas, my 4 year old is pretty confident making his way through this whole area now and tires himself out beautifully in it!

I’m always impressed how friendly the kids are here, they are usually pretty careful around the smaller ones and let them join in with their ball games/fort building/whatever.

I was specifically prompted to write this review today because of a negative review by Donna, which was posted on the day of my last visit, 14th February. I have not experienced the problems she mentioned, I visited at midday and was surprised how unbusy it was (see photos that I WhatsApped to a friend to show how few people were there), on the day I visited here the toilets were fine, and though they’re hardly luxurious, and I wouldn't want to eat my lunch in there, they’re usually pretty clean (for a soft-play!)

The place is always pretty clean and tidy, and when it’s busy the staff always seem to be working to keep it that way. The food here is pretty good, the staff are friendly and phone reception is reasonable.

I’ve recently bought new Adventure cards for both of my kids, so I’m...

Unsafe for babies I went here this half term with my ten month old specifically as there is a separate room for 0-2year old children. Shortly after arrival, several children aged 4 to about 9 came running into the enclosed room. They all started climbing over the fences from the outside and jumping in. We let staff know and a member of staff came over to help just as the children came running out. She said she would keep an eye on the cameras which we were grateful for but unfortunately no staff member came to help as more older children started coming back in. Then 12 children all aged from 5 to about 9 were in the baby room, climbing over and jumping close to my 10month old. At this point we just decided to leave as it was getting so unsafe both for my child and these bigger children. We left much earlier than the allotted time and as we left you could see the room on the screen clearly from where staff were stood. We let the staff member know a second time how unsafe it was and she just said "All I can do is ask them to leave the room" but that hadn't happened at any point. I can appreciate that it's a busy half term and there's only so much staff can do- but any help would have been appreciated. Also why have that facility if there's no way to keep it safe? The older children were putting themselves at risk of hurting themselves and if you had a small baby in there it was so uncomfortable because there were so many larger children running and pushing around by you and slamming the gate open and shut. There's a large play area designed for older children in the main section so I don't understand why children couldn't be asked to go back to this section. It was a really stressful experience and I won't...

I had a party booked for my sons 4th birthday and in all the places I've been for parties this was by far the worst place I've ever been, there was no parking for any of the party even though we were supposed to have had priority spaces, the guests were getting turned away from the car park and sent to another car park which said you can get clamped, my nephew is disabled and there wasn't a path from the car park to the venue so he wasn't able to use his wheelchair, the party food was burnt so I sent it back to the kitchen and got three tiny pieces of pizza sent back to me, then I complained to a manager who said they will speak to someone else she then came back to tell me she couldn't knock any money off I said I wasn't happy with it at all she then went away and said she can knock £10 off the bill except when I went to settle the remaining bill, I was told we've got to pay £11.95 per child instead of the £8.95 per child I was quoted when I booked the party (they quoted me a weekday price even though I booked it for a weekend which is more money and I didn't find this out until I went to pay) so then I had to argue the fact that that wasn't the price I was given when I rang up ..this took another half hour to sort out! By this point my sons birthday party was over and I missed most of his party, I would never recommend another party at come into play, I thought it would be less stress to not do a party at home and do it at a venue and relax a bit with having 3month old twins, it was more stress than it was worth. The whole thing was disorganised and the place was...

Went today with my children and was quite surprised by the lack of cleanliness and state of disrepair. As shown on the pictures there were big gaps in between the floor pads which were disgusting with dust and dirt, one of them even had an old bit of chewing gum! I forgot to take a photo of the session times poster before I left but in-between each session they claim to spend 30 minutes cleaning!?! Very doubtful, under the fridge and on top of plug sockets were brown and dusty so god knows when they last had a wet cloth on them. Ordered dinner it was lovely, given a generous amount and good value for the money, as was the admission price! So I will probably go back just because for the easy fun the kids have, but I will definitely be wary what my 2 year old daughter touches in the gaps & corners. It's a shame because with a good regular hoover around with the pipe tool and a disinfected cloth to play surfaces it would be lovely

We booked the 2-4pm session and arrived 10 mins early. Doors were open, so we went inside and were rudely told to go back outside as the session didn't start till 2pm and to close the door behind us. The workers were both rude and aggressive to the point where my children got upset. We then waited until 14.08pm to be let in because the workers were too busy having a chat between themselves. Once we were in the play centre and tables were still dirty from the session earlier. The play centre its self is good except the broken slide but the workers have no customer service skills or respect for paying customers.
